Gutter Planet Quickstart Guide

Gutter Planet is a Powered by the Apocalypse tabletop role-playing game inspired by body-horror adventures like Mad God, Annihilation, and Scavenger's Reign. 

If you’re here to save the world, you're too late. The planet and the stillborn behemoth at its core are dead. Few remember the demise of the world beast, but the greasy residue of its final breath lingers on our tattered souls.

In the centuries since, a foulness has taken in the dirt, displacing rivers and grassy plains with weeping ulcers and barren filth. To the east, where the creature clawed its way to the surface, an ocean-sized wound rots and festers. Even today, we dare not approach its pus-soaked beaches for fear of the malignant horrors that lurk beneath the ochre broth.

Yet, even on this mangled corpse, life goes on. It may not look like “life” to you. But beneath the boney, shadow-wreathed, mucus-soaked exterior, I assure you, we are alive. We gather in caves and cities of bone, and do what we must to survive. We lie, cheat, kill, and steal. We form communities and religions and cults and brittle partnerships where betrayal is inevitable. We live. We die.
